I think that one of the best ways to learn, grow, and challenge viewpoints, is to read and comment on the work of your peers. It builds community and continually exposes you to new and helpful ideas.
Below are some awesome Gen Y blogs I read. This list is by no means exhaustive, and I’m sure I’ve left out a hundred other rockin bloggers. Please add your favorites in the comments!

Modite is one of my favorite blogs period. If anyone is new to this and wants to see how it is done with excellence and style, they should check out Rebbecca Thorman’s Modite. She made a personalized video for one of my classes on blogging that was fantastic. She also ran a contest on her site once and I won a free HP laptop! Great site. Bret
I’ve read Eric Chester’s for years. He’s been speaking and writing to and about Gen Ys for over a decade and provides valuable insight on creating mutual understanding, respect and value between today’s millennials and the generations that precede them.

Thanks for including me, Cassie! Love everyone else on the list too.
Plentii is a cool one, as well (www.plentii.com) for personal finance, career and lifestyle topics. I’d also never heard about Life Without Pants – thanks for the heads up!
I just became editor of a new blog focused on career advice for the Gen Y set. Would love to hear from some of you with comments on the posts we have up there, guest blog posts, etc.
Wow — what a great list of blogs, compelling narrative and some top notch topics. In fear of getting nothing done in the future I am limiting myself to adding three or four of these to my read list. Really enjoyed Modite and Life After College.
I am relatively new to the Gen Y blog scene and recently started blogging after founding a platform that helps students find internships at non-profits and small and medium sized businesses, but realizing the great need for an open conversation to help students cross the river from the college world into the working world. I appreciate the insight and hard work everyone here is doing. I am picking up a lot from other blog writing and styles, but would love any feedback people have (now or in the future) on posts and format. The blog is called InternSmarter (http://www.internmatch.com/blog).
Look forward to keeping up with everyone’s Gen Y insights and can’t wait to begin adding to the conversation!

This is a great list, thanks for turning me on to a lot of fellow bloggers which I haven’t read yet. I’m always excited to find other Gen Yers who blog like I do. I am the creator of http://whowhatwherewheny.com The Gen Y Marketing Blog. Two of my other favorites are http://thenextgreatgeneration.com which has numerous writers for many different takes on issues facing Gen Y. Lastly I love @caitlinmc ‘s blog http://caitlinmccabe.com/ She has great takes on not just marketing, and society but also location independence and art.
Hope you guys like these blogs and I can’t wait to chat with you all on the blogs listed here. Long live Gen Y!
