I am currently studying a masters degree and I am the only student member of a professional organization. Recently I attended a trade exhibition where I was able to meet some members of this organization. All of them told me how they had found their jobs just by being members of this association and using its networking tools. And I myself might be able to get a wonderful internship through it.
